Diané is a brave little girl of only 3 who is facing leukaemia with the courage of somebody 10 times her age. She started her treatment in April 2018 and has been in remission since December 2018, but her treatment is ongoing.
For her mom, Monique, the most difficult part was seeing her daughter being confined to a bed and not being able to live life like a healthy child. But Diané doesn’t let her condition slow her down, she loves playing and is always trying something new! She’s a real girly girl and you can find her at the dressing table experimenting with mom’s makeup, dresses and new hair-dos, plus she loves Frozen and unicorns.
Diané has big dreams of becoming a doctor one day so that she can help other kids facing the same illness she is in remission for.
Monique expresses her thanks to Cupcakes of Hope for helping out with transport and food money, and for giving Diané a birthday party to remember. “Thanks for helping our kids in need, keep up the good work! Without you angels helping, I think we would have been hopeless. Thanks for all your love and support during our journey,” she said.
