Since 2012, Mugg & Bean has been a firm supporter of Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer. This inspiring initiative by Cupcakes of Hope prides itself on supporting children with cancer and their families.
Over the years we’ve donated a significant portion of all cupcake sales in September to this worthy cause. In 2018 we decided to make a change and rather focus on donating R5 for each Giant Muffin sold in the month. By opening up the donation mechanic with a range of 12 Giant Muffin flavours as opposed to just one cupcake, we were able to raise more than ever before. Giving has never tasted better!
We also made some updates to our Loyalty App that made it even easier for our customers to donate directly. Now you can donate your rewards beans or make a financial contribution to Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer any time of the year via our app.
All of our efforts combined resulted in our biggest ever donation: a total of R1,063,900!
Thank you for your contributions and for buying our Giant Muffins. We drive donations every year in September, so make sure you purchase our muffins during that month.
