We’re always striving to offer you more and more. That’s why we’ve partnered with Cycle Lab Active to bring you Safe Cycle Rides. These rides take place under the guidance of Cycle Lab’s experienced safety marshals, so you can enjoy your ride without having to worry about dangers from traffic. There’s no fee for participating, so make sure to join us!
Our first Safe Cycle Ride was held in Constantia, Cape Town, with a 40 and 80km ride following a circular route with M&B Constantia Village acting as the starting and finishing points. It was a fun day for everybody involved, although some of the hills proved a bit challenging.
Safe Cycle Rides are open to anybody over the age of 18. Our rides are perfect for novice riders, and we welcome any intermediate and advanced level riders too. It’s all about coming together to enjoy a fun community activity. You’ll just need register for the ride beforehand using the M&B Loyalty App and fill out an indemnity form. Participation in Safe Cycle Rides is on us, so bring your friends and family!
After our first successful ride in Cape Town, you can expect to see Safe Cycle Rides pushing off in Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal and Broadacres, Gauteng.
